Bento #10: A Feeble Attempt at Caloric Balance

Salted pan-fried chicken, baked mac-and-cheese, carrot sticks, watermelon,
and the last sad wrinkly grape tomatoes before I have to go grocery shopping.

So when the recipe said pan-fried I probably should have connected that that meant frying it in a pan and not just kind of cooking it so there's that and oh god my landlord is outside and he has grown a handlebar moustache and I don't even know what to think anymore it is too early for this

Bento #9: Chilibox

Three-bean chili, cornbread, broccoli, and sharp cheddar cheese.

Leftovers make life so much easier.

The red box doesn't make for a very good photo with this one, but it was bigger and I was pretty hungry today. I need more boxes aaaa

Bento #8: Hot Dog Rolls

Hot dog rolls, garlic-sautéed asparagus, broccoli and tomatoes, cantaloupe,
pear, and mini-cheese.

Apparently to make up for the boring yesterday I will eat a little bit of everything in my fridge today.

SO COLORFUL

SO FRESH

SO still not very interesting orz

I need to start practicing decoben. HMMM

Also apparently Blogger has decided that 'verdana' means 'georgia' for the last few days and won't let me change my fonts ffff

Bento #7: Breakfast!

Buttermilk pancakes, sautéed apples, cottage cheese, and a wayyyy-too-salty
tamagoyaki.

So it wasn't until I was already taking pictures that I realized there's not much color interest in this box. My bad. It was tasty, though. Um, aside from the eggs.

Un-Bento #1: First Sizzler of the Semester

Chicken with pesto mayo, lettuce, tomato, and Parmesan and a diet Pepsi. Yum.

No classes on Friday + extra meal swipe = sizzler.

Sizzlers are uh this thing our school does where they put a bunch of stuff in a gyro bread flat whatever and it costs the same as a normal meal. I don't know if other places do it.

But it's good and means I start off this four-day weekend without having to cook lunch scoooore

Bento #6: Hot Dogtopus and More Noodles

Turkey hot dog, grape tomatoes and broccoli (SURPRISE), bs-ed carrot kinpira,
and udon/veggie stir-fry.

BEHOLD THE GREAT FOREST OCTOPUS RULER OF FOOD WEEABOOS WHO THINK OCTOPI ARE CUTE AND THEN REALIZE THEY ARE ACTUALLY REALLY HARD TO FIT IN A BENTO BOX AND THAT THERE ARE NOT ALL THAT MANY BLUE FOODS TO MAKE WATER OUT OF um and also forests i guess

Bento #5: Tamagoyaki and Udon Noodles

Tamagoyaki with apple-cup ketchup, stir-fried fat udon, broccoli, grape
tomatoes, an ugly lemon bar, and watermelon.

Look it's something that actually looks sort of Asian on top yaay

I swear, the easiest way to make anything awesome is to stir-fry it in garlic and soy sauce. Probably even that lemon bar, but I'll try it as is first. Just to, you know, make sure. As a contrHOLD ON WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME THERE WAS BROCCOLI STUCK TO MY BENTO BOX THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING WHUUHHHGHH
